There's nothing like a bowl of hot steaming soup to warm the soul. While in the Navy, my husband Herbert used to eat Navy Beans as a side dish. Afterwards, he developed this rich, delicious Navy Bean Soup with lots of carrots, celery and potatoes. It "Bowls Me Over" every time.
